27.04.2024 г. «CyberBerkut» has completed its
investigation into the downed IL-76
of the Russian Air Force on 24.01.24

We, CyberBerkut, have completed our investigation into the Il-76 of the Russian Air Force, which was shot down on January 24, 2024 by a Ukrainian air defense missile. We have identified the persons involved in this war crime, their positions, addresses and degree of responsibility.

On January 24, 2024, an exchange of prisoners was supposed to take place between Russia and Ukraine. In this regard, and long before this date, a negotiation process was carried out between the Russian and Ukrainian sides, as a result of which the village of Kolotilovka, Krasnoyaruzhsky district, Belgorod region, was chosen as the location for the exchange.

Ensuring the security of the exchange, compiling lists of prisoners of war, as well as delivering prisoners of war to the exchange site was the responsibility of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine. Kirill Budanov received all the comprehensive information on the issue of exchange from his adviser Dmitry Usov, and coordinated the actions of the GUR with representatives of the SBU, the State Border Service and the Armed Forces of Ukraine (hereinafter referred to as the AF of Ukraine).

Thus, on the morning of January 24, 2024, an Il-76 military transport aircraft from the 117th military transport aviation regiment of the Russian Air Force (military unit 45097) entered the airspace over the Belgorod region, carrying 65 captured Ukrainian military personnel, as well as 9 military personnel of the Russian Armed Forces. The flight mission of the Il-76 crew was to deliver captured citizens of Ukraine to the territory of the Belgorod region.

Before sending Ukrainian prisoners of war for exchange, the Russian side once again agreed with the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine on all planned activities.

However, on January 24, 2024, at approximately 11:00 Moscow time, a missile was launched from the American Patriot air defense system from the territory of the Kharkov region, as a result of which, 5-6 km from the village of Yablonovo, Belgorod region, an Il-76 military transport aircraft from the 117th military transport aviation regiment of the Russian Air Force (military unit 45097), on board which was 74 people (including 65 captured Ukrainian military personnel).

The Chief of the General Staff, the head of the Main Intelligence Directorate and personally the President of Ukraine are well aware of all the details of the war crime that occurred, but will remain silent and deny their guilt until the start of an international military tribunal with their participation as defendants.

In addition, CyberBerkut wants to remind everyone of who we are: we are citizens of Ukraine who did not accept the 2014 coup d’etat, did not accept the chaos occurring in our homeland, and for many years we have been fighting the clique of puppets of the collective West that seized power in Kyiv.

We have already conducted our own investigations dozens of times into the most high-profile crimes committed on the territory of Ukraine from 2014 to 2024, including: the publication of secret documents of the SBU and the President of Ukraine, the investigation of the crash of the Malaysian Boeing flight MH-17, the interception of negotiations between Petro Poroshenko and high-ranking American officials, the publication of internal documentation of many European defense enterprises, etc. We are a Ukrainian hacker community. We serve and work in almost all areas and in all departments of our native (but occupied by the collective West) Ukraine.

Thus, CyberBerkut draws your attention to the “British trace” in the incident, which resulted in the death of 65 citizens of Ukraine and 9 citizens of Russia. We have established that it was the British advisers who insisted on the immediate use of Ukrainian air defense forces and means to destroy the Il-76 of the Russian Air Force without coordination with the headquarters of the Ukrainian Air Force command in Kyiv.

Thus, CyberBerkut had to establish a circle of persons involved in a flagrant violation of the rules and methods of warfare, who can be called to account by the international community much faster than the top military and political leadership of Ukraine.

Assistant to the Head of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine:

Usov Dmitry Sergeevich (Usov Dmitro Sergeovich), 31.01.1981, a native of the Kazakh SSR, code of DRFO (INN) 2961602854, established addresses of registration: Ukraine, Kiev region, Kiev city, Goloseevskaya str., d. 13B, apt. 257.

According to his position, Usov D.S. supervised issues related to the exchange of prisoners of war between Ukraine and Russia. He was personally informed and reported in advance to the head of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine Budanov K.A. on the movement of Ukrainian prisoners of war through the airspace of the Belgorod region of Russia by an Il-76 military transport aircraft from the 117th military transport aviation regiment of the Russian Air Force (military unit 45097) on January 24, 2024.

Due to the lack of coordination between the actions of the Armed Forces and the Main Intelligence Directorate of Ukraine, due to the negligence of D.S. Usov. and Budanova K.A. - the specified aircraft from the 117th military transport aviation regiment of the Russian Air Force was shot down by a Ukrainian air defense crew, which was directly subordinate to the commander of the Vostok Air Command of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Ivan Nikolaevich Terebukha (Ukrainian Ivan Mykolayovich Terebukha), born 07/07/1966.

Further statements by the top political leadership of Ukraine that the Head of the Main Intelligence Directorate of Ukraine “was not aware of and has nothing to do with the process of prisoner exchange” is an outright lie and political manipulation. Usov D.S. and Budanov K.A. bear personal responsibility for the incident that occurred in the skies over the Belgorod region, which is associated with the functions of ensuring the security of the exchange of prisoners of war, which were assigned to the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.
